FAQs

When do I collect money from my jewelry selling?

Checks are cut for disbursal during the second week of every month.  Example: If your piece sells in October, you will receive a check for the sale during the second week of November.

How does the sale of precious metals work?

All gold or metals are weighed directly in front of you. The price is established based off of the daily market rate. You will receive on-the-spot payment for your items.

How long does it typically take to sell pieces?

We wish we had a crystal ball to answer this question. Some pieces sell immediately and some pieces take longer until the right customer comes along.

Will I receive a contract for my consignment?

Yes, a contract showing the description of the jewelry, the consignment amount quoted, and a photo of each item will be created and signed by both Emrick Jewels and yourself.

Are my pieces insured while in your store?

Yes, everything in our store is insured for the net dollar amount quoted to you during the appraisal process.

What happens if I change my mind?

We do not require a minimum amount of time for your item to be with us, you may request your item for return at any given time.
